Akazuki Works started with designers and engineers who kept seeing the same problem: great ideas getting lost between a design file and a production deploy. So we built a studio that does both, under one roof, with no handoff in between.

We still work that way today. We'd rather turn down work than staff a project with people who weren't part of the original conversation. It's a more deliberate way to grow — but it's the only way we've found to keep every project this carefully made.

How a project comes together

A straightforward four-step process, with clear deliverables and check-ins at every stage — so you always know what’s next and what you’re getting. Exact timing depends on scope, and we agree it with you before any build starts.

  1. Discover (3–5 days) — We learn your business, your users, and what a win looks like for this project.
  2. Design (1–2 weeks) — Wireframes and high-fidelity UI, refined with you until every screen feels right.
  3. Build (2–6 weeks) — A hand-coded, type-safe build — componentized, tested, and performance-checked.
  4. Launch & Grow (Ongoing) — We ship, monitor, and keep iterating with you as your product and traffic grow.
