Ongoing Support
We don’t disappear after launch.
Launch is where your product starts working for you. We keep monitoring, maintaining, and iterating with you as your product and traffic grow — the same team that built it, so there’s no ramp-up and no handoff.
What you get with ongoing support
- Uptime and performance monitoring — We watch availability and speed continuously and act on issues before they reach your customers.
- Updates and security patches — Dependencies and infrastructure kept current, so your site stays secure and supported.
- Fixes and small changes — Bug fixes, content changes, and small improvements handled by engineers who already know your codebase.
- Iteration roadmap — A shared plan for what to improve next, based on how your product is used and where your business is heading.
- Direct access — You talk to the people who build and maintain your site — no ticket queue in between.
- Client portal — Track projects, invoices, and updates in one place through your Akazuki Works client portal.
How we approach ongoing support
Support from the team that built it
Launch is where your website starts doing its job, and it’s also where many agencies step away. We don’t. The engineers who designed and built your site keep looking after it, so there’s no onboarding period, no knowledge lost in a handoff, and no one learning your codebase on your budget.
That continuity is why most clients keep us on after launch: it’s faster and cheaper than bringing in someone new, and changes are made by people who already know why the site works the way it does.
What support looks like month to month
We monitor uptime and performance continuously and act on issues before they reach your customers. Dependencies and infrastructure are kept current with security patches, so the site stays secure and supported rather than slowly drifting out of date.
Alongside that, we handle bug fixes, content changes, and small improvements, and keep a shared roadmap of what to improve next based on how the site is used and where your business is heading. You talk to us directly, and you can follow projects, updates, and invoices in your client portal.
Taking over a site we didn’t build
We also support sites built by other teams. Before we commit to anything, we review the codebase and infrastructure so we understand what we’re taking on — including anything that needs attention first — and then agree a support plan with you that reflects what we found.
Common questions about ongoing support
Do we still own everything while you support it?
Yes. You keep full ownership of your domain and source code, with no proprietary platform lock-in, so you’re free to change how your site is supported at any time.
What does ongoing support cover beyond fixes?
Monitoring, updates and security patches, and a shared iteration roadmap — so the site keeps improving as your product and traffic grow, not just staying online.
Can you support a site you didn’t build?
Often, yes. We start by reviewing the codebase and infrastructure so we understand what we’re taking on, then agree a support plan with you.
Is support required after launch?
No. You own your code and can take it anywhere. Most clients keep us on because it’s faster and cheaper than onboarding someone new.
How do I request changes?
Talk to us directly. Clients also have access to the client portal for projects, updates, and invoices.
