On-site Tech Acquisition Manager in Tbilisi to find, attract, and hire developers and technical talent. $1,400 USD/month, B2B contract.
About Akazuki Works
Akazuki Works is a small, in-house web development studio. We design and build fast, modern, carefully engineered websites and web applications for businesses that care about quality.
We work differently from most agencies. Clients talk directly to the people building their product, nothing is outsourced, and every client gets full ownership of their code. Because all our work is done in-house, the quality of our team is everything.
The Role
As Tech Acquisition Manager, you'll own how we find and hire technical talent. You'll source developers and technical specialists, run initial interviews, coordinate technical assessments with our team, and guide candidates all the way to a signed offer.
This is a hands-on, on-site role at our office in Tbilisi. You'll work closely with the developers you're hiring for and have real influence over who joins the studio.
What You'll Do
- Source and reach out to developers, designers, and other technical candidates through LinkedIn, GitHub, job boards, and developer communities
- Screen candidates, review portfolios and CVs, and run initial interviews
- Coordinate technical interviews and assessments with our development team
- Manage the hiring pipeline from first contact to signed offer
- Help onboard new hires so they settle in quickly
- Build a network of strong technical talent we can draw on for future projects
- Keep candidate and pipeline data accurate and up to date
What We're Looking For
- 6+ months of experience in technical recruiting, talent acquisition, or a similar role
- Strong sourcing and outreach skills
- Enough understanding of web development roles and technologies to assess candidates and hold confident conversations with them (you don't need to code)
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and applicant tracking or CRM tools
- Strong written and spoken English
- Organized, proactive, and good at building relationships
- Able to work on-site at our office in Tbilisi
Nice to Have
- Experience hiring for web development agencies, software companies, or startups
- An existing network of developers or technical professionals, especially in Georgia
- Experience with employer branding or writing job descriptions
- Georgian or Russian language skills
