Many businesses have had a bad experience with a web agency. They meet a friendly account manager, then the work goes to a subcontractor they never speak to, deadlines slip, and at the end they aren't sure who owns the code. Akazuki Works was built to be the opposite of that.
We're a small, in-house web development studio with a presence in Tbilisi, Georgia and London, United Kingdom. We build fast, modern, well-engineered websites and web applications, and we do all of it ourselves.
What We Build
Websites that perform. Your website is often the first impression your business makes, and speed is part of that impression. We build sites that load quickly, work well on every device, and are structured so search engines can find and understand them. Good design matters, but so does what's under the surface.
Web applications. When a business needs more than pages, such as customer portals, booking systems, dashboards, internal tools, or platforms with their own admin back end, we design and build the whole thing. We shape the application around how your business works, rather than bending your processes to fit an off-the-shelf tool.
Modern, maintainable code. We use modern technologies and write clean, well-structured code. That makes your project faster today and easier to extend in the future, whether you keep working with us or bring development in-house.
How We're Different
No outsourcing. The people you talk to are the people who build your project. Nothing gets passed to an anonymous third party, so quality stays consistent and nothing gets lost in translation.
Direct communication. You'll speak directly with the developers working on your site, with no layers of account managers in between. Questions get answered quickly and decisions get made faster.
You own your code. When the project is finished, the code is yours. No lock-in, no hidden dependencies on us, no surprises if you decide to move on. We'd rather keep clients because they want to work with us, not because they can't leave.
Tbilisi and London
Our two locations let us serve clients across the UK, Europe, and beyond. London keeps us close to the UK market and the business expectations that come with it. Tbilisi is one of the region's most dynamic tech cities and home to a growing community of talented developers. It's part of our own team, not a place we send work to.
The few hours of time difference help as well: work often continues after a UK working day ends, so clients regularly see progress by the next morning.
